Water World Nominated for Two National Readers’ Choice Awards
FEDERAL HEIGHTS, COLORADO (March 25, 2024) – Water World, Colorado’s first and largest waterpark, has been nominated for Best Outdoor Water Park in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards and Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
Voting is currently open for both contests. For Newsweek, voting will close on Thursday, April 11th at 10:00 AM and winners will be announced on April 18th. 10Best will close voting on Monday, April 22nd at 10:00 AM and announce winners on May 1st. Fans can vote once per day in both contests.
Water World opened in 1979 and is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Operated by the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District, Water World is publicly owned, and proceeds go towards providing parks, facilities, and recreation services in the surrounding community.
