Water World Named #2 Best Outdoor Water Park

FEDERAL HEIGHTS, COLORADO (April 18, 2024) – Water World, Colorado’s first and largest waterpark, has been voted the #2 outdoor water park in the country through Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

Water World opened in 1979 and is celebrating its 45^th anniversary this year. Operated by the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District, Water World is publicly owned, and proceeds go towards providing parks, facilities, and recreation services in the surrounding community.
