Cooler Size Restrictions
Cooler sizes must not exceed:
- Vertical Coolers: 17″ wide x 24″ tall x 17″ deep
- Horizontal Coolers: 24″ wide x 17″ tall x 17″ deep
Ice must remain bagged until after security.
Our Team Members must be able to clearly see all items inside, and to the bottom, of your cooler.
- Keep ice in its original packaging OR
- Place ice in plastic bags, such as Ziploc, OR
- Use cold packs
If you have loose ice in your cooler, please consult a Water World Team member. Coolers that exceed size restrictions must be returned to your vehicle.
Prohibited Items
All guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entering the park and at any time throughout their visit. For your safety, the following items are prohibited:
- Coolers exceeding Cooler Size Restrictions
- Glass Containers (including baby bottles)
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Metal Utensils (Only Plastic Utensils Permitted)
- Personal Tents or Shade Structures
- Umbrellas (excluding personal-sized, non-pointed tip umbrellas that do not exceed 54″ in diameter)
- Flotation Devices and Water Wings (excluding US Coast Guard-approved life jackets. Free life jackets are available to rent in the park.)
- Snorkels and Water Toys
- Cooking/Grilling Equipment
- Knives, Firearms, or Weapons of Any Kind
- Illegal Drugs or Marijuana in any form (including Medical)
- Pets (excluding Service Animals)
Prohibited items must be discarded or returned to your vehicle before entry. We will not store or hold any prohibited items.
Wagons, strollers, and lawn chairs are allowed.
Ticketing Information
- For online tickets, click the “Let’s Go! Print or view your tickets” button in your confirmation email. This will pull up your tickets; you will scan the square QR code at entry.
- For Print-at-Home tickets, you may be required to present the credit card used for the purchase at the entry turnstile.
NEVER purchase tickets from Craigslist, street vendors, or any unauthorized source. Only purchase tickets on our website, a Water World ticket window, or an official partner.
- Tickets from unauthorized sources will not be honored, nor will any refunds or compensation be provided.
- The unauthorized or unlawful resale (or attempted resale) of any ticket will result in seizure and cancellation without compensation.
Weather & Rainchecks
- There may be days when we do not open due to inclement weather. These decisions are made by 9am and the website is updated accordingly.
- We will close attractions when unsafe conditions are present. If attractions are closed for more than 60 minutes, guests receive a full-day or mid-day raincheck ticket. Mid-day tickets are issued for closures after 1:45pm and are valid for entry at 1:45pm on a different day.
- No refunds will be issued, regardless of time spent in park. Refunds and rainchecks are not issued for incidental expenses such as Personal Tube Rental, Tube Valet, Meal Plans, etc.
- To receive your raincheck ticket, you must present your ticket or birthday wristband at the Ticket Services booths before leaving the park. Cabana guests will receive rainchecks from their cabana host.
- Certain tickets, such as Tots and others marked “no raincheck issued on this ticket” do not quality for rainchecks.
Height Requirements & Weight Advisory
70% of our attractions may be enjoyed by guests of any height, while others have height requirements for your safety.
Please check signage and height markers at each attraction; heights must be checked without footwear. Height requirements are also listed on our Attractions page.
Select attractions (Mile High Flyer, Centennial Basin, Roaring Forks) have weight restrictions for your safety. Guests will be weighed by group prior to boarding and separated if needed.
Guests who are pregnant or have physical ailments should consult their medical provider before riding. Guests over 250 lbs. may experience abnormal exposure to discomfort or injury.
Swim Diapers & Healthy Swimming
- Swim Diapers are required for diaper dependent children. Please bring swim diapers with you or purchase in our gift shop.
- Take children to use the restroom and check diapers frequently.
- Stay out of the water if you have, or have recently had, diarrhea. If you have diarrhea on the day of your visit, please stop by Guest Services before entering the park. We’ll be happy to help you plan a visit for another day!
- Shower before you get in the water.
- Do not pee or poop in the water.
- Do not swallow the pool water.
Smoking
Water World is a smoke-free environment and smoking or vaping is permitted in designated areas only.
Designated smoking locations are located inside the park near The Lodge at Alpine Springs, near the entry to Voyage to the Center of the Earth, near the top of Tortuga Run at Calypso Cove, and directly outside of our entry plaza. Guests will need to present today’s ticket and obtain a re-entry stamp if utilizing the entry plaza location.
Marijuana, including medical, is not permitted in any form.
Water World prohibits the possession, consumption, use, display, transfer, distribution, sale, transportation, or growing of marijuana on, or in, any and all real property and facilities which it owns or operates.
Go Pro Cameras, Selfie Sticks, Drones & Other Technology
- For your safety, “Go Pro” or similar camera devices must be firmly secured with a chest harness only. They are not permitted on mat racer attractions.
- Selfie sticks are not permitted on any ride or attraction.
- Drones are not permitted on Water World property.
- Use of any photo or video device in restroom or changing areas is prohibited.
- Any inappropriate use of technology, as determined by management, is prohibited.
