A visit to Water World is all about creating summer’s best memories and we can’t wait to have you visit with us this summer! Please take a moment to review this page and our Guidelines Page for important tips, and information for planning a visit! See you soon!
Cooler Sizes & Prohibited Items
Breezing through park entry is as easy as 1-2-3!
For your safety, to expedite arrival & to enhance security screening:
- Keep your ice bagged until after bag check. Options include keeping your bulk ice in its packaging (until after Bag Check), placing your ice in bags (such as Ziploc or similar) or using cold packs. For your safety, our Team Members must be able to clearly see all items inside of, and to the bottom of your cooler. If you have loose ice in your cooler, please consult a Water World Team member.
- Check your Cooler Size! Cooler sizes are limited and must fit within our front gate cooler sizer units (including wheels and collapsible handles) and must be able to fit inside our security screening equipment. Coolers may be scanned on their side. All coolers that do not meet these guidelines must be returned to your vehicle (Park Re-Entry available). Vertical shaped coolers must be no larger than 17″ wide x 24″ tall x 17″ deep and Horizontal shaped coolers must be no larger than 24″ wide x 17″ tall x 17″ deep
- Leave the following prohibited items at home (prohibited items will delay entry due to secondary screening):
-Glass containers or alcoholic beverages.
-Personal tents/shade structures, umbrellas (other than personal sized), flotation devices (other than U.S. Coast Guard approved life-jackets) and cooking/serving/grilling equipment.
-Knives or weapons of any kind (including kitchen knives).
-Illegal drugs, or marijuana (medical or otherwise) in any form.
-For park and guest safety, other items may be prohibited.
Swim Diapers & Healthy Swimming
- Swim Diapers are required for diaper dependent children. Please bring swim diapers with you, or purchase in our gift shop.
- Please take your children to use the restroom frequently.
- Without your help, even properly treated pool water can spread germs. 1) Stay out of the water if you have or have recently had diarrhea. 2) Shower before you get in the water. 3) Don’t pee or poop in the water. 4) Don’t swallow the pool water. 5) Parents-take take kids on bathroom breaks frequently! 6) Check diapers and change them in a bathroom or diaper-changing area!
- If you have diarrhea on the day of your visit, please stop by Guest Services before entering the park. We’ll be happy to help you plan a visit for another day!
Weather & Rainchecks
- There may be days when we do not open due to inclement weather. These decisions are made by 9am and the website is updated accordingly.
- We will close attractions when unsafe conditions are present. If attractions are closed for more than 60 minutes, guests receive a full-day or mid-day raincheck ticket. Mid-day tickets are issued for closures after 1:45pm and are valid for entry at 1:45pm on a different day.
- No refunds will be issued, regardless of time spent in park. Refunds and rainchecks are not issued for incidental expenses such as Personal Tube Rental, Tube Valet, Meal Plans, etc.
- To receive your raincheck ticket, you must present your ticket or birthday wristband at the Ticket Services booths before leaving the park. Cabana guests will receive rainchecks from their cabana host.
- Certain tickets, such as Tots and others marked “no raincheck issued on this ticket” do not quality for rainchecks.
Food Service
- Credit cards and touch-less payment options are available throughout the park, including ApplePay, GooglePay and Splash Cash (load funds and spend from your wristband)!
- Mobile Ordering options are available at most food service locations. From your phone, order your food in advance and pick-up at an express location. Mobile Ordering QR codes are posted at participating locations.
Common Questions
- Footwear: Guests are encouraged to wear water-appropriate footwear (such as flip-flops or water-shoes) during their visit and while walking around the park. - Wagons & Personal Lawn Chairs: Guests are permitted to bring wagons and strollers into the park. Guests may bring their own lawn chairs if they prefer (park chairs are provided on a first come, first-serve basis throughout the park).
