The Attraction Access Pass (AAP) is for those whose disabilities impact their ability to transport tubes or utilize standard queuing.

How to request the AAP Service?

  • Guests who because of a physical or cognitive impairment, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or those substantially limited in their ability to transport tubes, rafts, or sleds to the dispatch point of individual attractions may request helpful accommodations through our Attraction Access Program (AAP).
    • If a guest’s disability does not limit their ability to transport tubes, rafts, or sleds to the dispatch point of an attraction or use a normal attraction queue, there is no need to stop at Guest Services for the AAP service, as you may utilize the standard attraction queuing and flow.
    • All guests must have the physical/cognitive ability to hold themselves in the proper riding position (including upright) within the vehicle/tube throughout the course of the ride.
    • To request the AAP Service, you may visit our Main Guest Services to speak with our Management Team and request the AAP Service Card (valid for 30 days from date of issue). You may experience a wait while our Management Team responds to your request.  To confirm the guests name (only), please present an ID which contains the name of the guest requesting the AAP Service Card (including valid Driver’s License, state-issued ID, school ID, credit card, etc).
    • Water World also recognizes IBCCES Individual Accessibility Cards. The IBCCES registration process, which can be found at www.accessibilitycard.org allows guests to utilize one digital accessibility card to access multiple participating destinations. If you intend to use an IBCCES individual accessibility card, please complete the registration at least one week before your visit. IBCCES card holders may present their digital accessibility card at the Main Entry Guest Services to receive the AAP service. Wait times may be reduced.
    • One AAP may be issued per guest, per 30-day period.
    • We do not offer a discount for guests with disabilities. All standard in park ticket options are available for purchase at Guest Services.
    • The Guest Service Manager will be available at the Main Entry Guest Service to address accommodation questions and concerns.

How to Use Your AAP Card:

  • Attraction queuing may be a mix of direct sun, partial shade, or full-shade. You may experience wait times as tubes, rafts or sled are moved to the attraction entry points.
  • The AAP Card must be presented at the attraction; the pictured guest must be present and riding the attraction. A valid timed boarding pass is also required to be scanned upon attraction entry. Guests without valid boarding passes will not be permitted to ride, even if they have a valid AAP card.
  • The AAP is valid for the issued guest and up to 3 riding companions.
  • Guests may hold up to two active boarding passes at a time (each must be in different time periods). Present a valid AAP card at any Guest Service location including: Front Entry, Cowabunga, Bayview, and Alpine Springs to request an AAP Boarding Pass.
  • The AAP works as follows:

Your timed boarding pass will permit up to 1 ride on each, within the assigned time window, stated on the boarding pass.
      • Enter using the Tube Valet entrance near the top of the ride. You will bypass the main queuing at the bottom of the ride but may still experience a wait up to 25 minutes.
      • For Voyage to the Center of the Earth and Storm, a member of the guest’s party will carry the tube a short distance to the attraction entrance. If the guest’s party is unable to do so, notify the Tube Valet attendant and we will deliver the tube for you.
