Arrival & AAP Card
Ticketing & Arrival
- Guests who, because of a physical or mental impairment, are substantially limited in their ability to transport tubes, rafts or sleds to the dispatch point of individual attractions OR guests with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) should visit Guest Services (next to the entry turnstiles) upon arrival at the park.
- Some questions will be asked to assure that the guest has the required physical criteria in order to safely experience our attractions. If so, an Attraction Access Pass (AAP) will be issued, at no additional fee, to the guest. This AAP card is valid for the pictured guest and up to 3 riding companions.
- If a guest’s disability does not limit their ability to transport tubes, rafts or sleds to the dispatch point of an attraction or use a normal attraction queue, there is no need to stop at Guest Services for the AAP Pass as you may utilize the standard attraction queuing and flow. We are always happy to answer questions and help plan your visit.
- We do not offer a discount for guests with disabilities. All standard ticket options are available for purchase at Guest Services.
Attraction Access Pass (AAP):
- An Attraction Access Pass (AAP) Card must always be presented at the attraction and cannot be transferred. The pictured guest must always be present and riding the attraction. If you have a concern about a specific disability and our AAP please ask for the Guest Service Manager for additional discussion.
- Guests may only hold one active boarding card per attraction at a time. A maximum of 4 personal tubes or 1 family sized tube will be issued per AAP. AAP is valid for the guest and up to 3 riding companions.
- The AAP is available in person at the front entry Guest Service location only.
- One AAP is issued per guest, per day.
- Attraction queuing may be a mix of direct sun, partial shade or full-shade.
- The Attraction Access Pass works as follows:
- West Coast (including Voyage to the Center of the Earth, Storm and Lost River of the Pharaohs): Enter using the Tube Valet entrance near the top of the ride. You will bypass the main queuing at the bottom of the ride but may still experience a top of ride wait of 0-25 minutes. For Voyage to the Center of the Earth and Storm, a member of the guest’s party will carry the tube the short distance to the attraction entrance. If the guest’s party is unable to do so, notify the Tube Valet attendant and we will deliver the tube to the attraction entry point for you.
- River Country (including “The 4 Rivers”, Thunder & Cimarron Rivers, Ragin’ Colorado and Lazy River) & Calypso Cove (including Screamin’ Mimi & Tortuga Run): The guest who was issued the AAP will stop by the Tube Exchange Counter located on the main deck area (near the attraction queuing entrance) and show the AAP and indicate which attraction the guest would like to ride next. For Calypso Cove attractions, please visit First Aid. Our team members will provide a boarding card and will deliver the attraction tube(s) to the top of the ride within approximately 10 minutes. The guest and their party (up to 3 riding companions) will proceed to the top of the attraction (bypassing the main queuing) and wait in any queues that exist at the attraction entry (normally 10 minutes or less). When it’s the guests turn to ride, simply present the boarding card to the attraction dispatcher and we will provide you the attraction tube(s).
- Alpine Springs (Mile High Flyer) and Wild Isle (Revolution): The guest who was issued the AAP will proceed to the Alpine Springs Guest Service location where our team members will provide a boarding card with a designated return time, based on the current attraction wait time. Upon the designated return time, the rider and party will present the boarding card at the Tube Valet Entry. While waiting, guests are free to enjoy other areas of the park, relax in a shady area or grab a bite to eat.
